JORGE M. ABRIL, admitted to the Florida
Bar in 1988, U.S. District Court for the Southern District
of Florida, 1989. Member of the Coral Gables, Dade County
and American Bar Associations, the Cuban American Bar Association,
and the Latin Builders Association. Graduated from California
State University Los Angeles, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree
in Political Science in 1984. In 1987, he was awarded a Juris
Doctor Degree from Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern
University Law Center. While in law school, was a member
of the Moot Court Board and Business Manager for the organization.
Possesses over 20 years experience in the debt collection
industry and has represented commercial and consumer creditors
in the litigation of over 1000 cases. Special counsel to
the U.S. Government in collection of federal guaranteed loans.
Faculty member of the National Business Institute and frequent
lecturer on debt collection issues. During the last decade,
Jorge M. Abril and his firm have represented over 300 hundred
local, regional, national, and international individuals
and corporations and has enjoyed success in collecting and
recovering a wide range of commercial and consumer accounts.
